On a late afternoon in late August, I was winding up the rubber band on my wooden plane, when I heard a loud scream followed by a the sound of smashing glass. A woman darted past my friends and I. Then a man, who had a knife in his belly, chased her holding a hairspray can and a lighter. Trying to catch her on fire. This moment appeared to freeze in time for me. It was very many years ago yet I remember it like it just happened. As he ran past us I watched a lot of blood shooting from his stomach....

When I was little my cousin and myself went for our usual four hour hike into the Canadian wilderness. We would pack buttered bread, cheese, and some sausage and head out early in the morning. I remember thinking that I was the luckiest kid in the world to be able to experience this. I actually felt part of nature as I walked the winding deer paths up the mountainside. The smell if pine needles seemed to provide me with exhilarating amounts of oxygen. We would walk as far as we could in an hour...

She tumbled like a ball of fire right to the steps of KT’s Cathouse. This place was the dirtiest hole in the world, well maybe Big Bertha’s hole was. Okay this is Psychobabble extreme and full on flurry. About four thousand years ago the fire queen was banished and locked away inside of a quartz crystal. Corny idea but it’s what happened so fuck off. She was not destroyed nor was she put to sleep. She was guarded by generation after generation of monks who were sworn to hide her for all time.
