Here's for those little bits of word art that you may not feel like sharing elsewhere. Poetry, short-short stories... and whatever formless prose you may wish to torture us with.
Have at it!

How about this?
When twilight struck,
and the shadows left all bland and gray,
The old gods died at last,
in agony and obscurity.
Devoid of all life,
a seemingly empty shade,
a specter,
a shell.
There was nothing left.
No faerie light or unicorn dreams,
all forgotten in banality,
and the clockwork arm of order
set in rigid structure the remaining lines,
until aught was but planes and cornices
and no graceful wings gave heavenly shape
or hellish countenance.
No fragile fey was left,
to give charm and allure
or the seemingly innocent play
of morbidly practical jokes.
The pale-faced waif,
bereft of all color,
drained of all clever artifice,
at last marched alone
to the click of the clockwork arm.

I'm no poet, but sometimes my scribal incontinence gets the better of me.

That was pretty awesome.. I like the "clockwork arm of order" a lot.
I have one too.. I wrote it a few years ago when I was still pagan.

Prayer to Odin
O mighty Odin
Thou ridest across the sky
on slepnir the sure footed
as quickly as the wind doth go.
Bearing the great spear
Gungir the infallable
Torn from the world tree
Ygdrassil
Where Hlidskialf
Thine lofty watchtower throne
Dost sit
With Geri and Freki At thy feet
Whilst Hugin and Munin report
On the world of man
O great Odin
Who wondereth
Throughout the world
Bedcecked as a beggar
In a cloak of grey
Thy broad hat
To keep from notice
That one of thine
Shining eyes
Lay at the bottom
Of mimir's well
As a sacrifice
For All-Knowledge
Past, present and future
Allfather!
Thy works and deeds
Cause feelings of joy
To praise thy name
Let me revel in thy favor

wow! That was really well written, definitely old school style. I'm not pagan myself, but I like.
