Something that has me thinking is something that I doubt any of us can deny.
Here on Gothic.net, we are all a bunch of grumpy haters most of the time.
Sure, we can partake intelligently in a proper discussion about music, instruments, art or litterature, but those only pop up once every so often.
The rest of the time, we are taking camps against each other, being grumpy and hating on each other.
Now, this is not to be taken as a request to stop hating me, because if that makes you happy, I don't care.
I am just wondering why it is like this?
As far as I have seen, it has been so for quite some time now.
And before I am flamed away by my personal army of lovely haters(yes GM and MiW, I love you <3), let me state it all:
Yes, I'm a loser. I'm fat. I'm not very tall. I care about a lot of useless stuff. I am a waste of life. This thread is fucking retarded and a waste of bandwidth.

To answer your question, whatever 'hate' you perceive on these boards is accountable to the presence of people, like yourself, who inspire passionate hatred.

I have never been accused of being a hater before, at least not that I recall, on the other hand I have been accused of being too soft and being a bleeding heart quite a few times. Seems to me that the problem if you and not everyone else.

Solumina - I was talking about mankind as a general species, with a special focus on the Gnet board as a brilliant example. I may not have made it sound like that though.

If you throw a snowball, and you know it is going to hit someone, the intention is to hit them.

If you start a thread, and you know it is going to cause tension, the intention is to start flames.

You can, in fact, post here without being called fat. However, you shouldn't start a thread that could have easily been answered by Wikipedia or Google and not expect ridicule. If I started a thread asking "how is babby formed?", I should expect the same storm as you've been recieving.
