Is it really obvious I'm going bald?
I'm only 20, Jesus.
Rogaine? I always knew I would be going bald, but I always thought I wouldn't have to worry about it until like...30. Apparently people are going bald younger these days. I've suffered from pretty chronic anxiety for the past ten years, so I'm wondering if that accelerated the process. I see what you're referring to, but honestly.. I wouldn't look at you and say "wow.. going bald young.."
Aside from that.. there isn't anything that can be done about it. Well.. you could shave your whole head. And seriously, shaved heads are sexy. I really enjoyed having my head shaved, but I didn't like it being touched by strangers all the time.. and now that I have my hair back, they just pat my scarification. Fucking humans. :| |
Well, I've been where you are now at approximately the same age myself. What looked like early hair loss turned into a widow's peek in the end, but I shave my scalp for convenience and cost. The reality is, you can grow it out and slick it back like a lot of fellas used to in the 1920's and 30's or you can be like myself where you shave it all off once a week with a razor or every couple of days with a set of clippers.
However, the question is, what is the look that you would prefer to have with your own hair or the lack of? |
My tip to you would be this:
Don't brush your hair backwards, and don't expose the "bald spots" and go "LOOK AT THEM!" and you'll be fine :D |
Not obvious, but if it happens, rock it. There are plenty of awesome, bald people out there.

Well, in an ideal universe I would keep my hair forever. For now, I'd like to try and get some regrowth with either Rogaine or Propecia and then stay on Propecia for a while...and then eventually I will probably just shave it. I think I would look good with a shaved head, I have the right facial structure for it.
