My Girlfriend is crying in pain and we dont know what to do. I promised I wouldnt post but Im left with no out let. She is in serious pain and is wondering how serious this is. Are choices are bad. I can take her to the hospital where she will wait for 11 hours or more (we've been there and know that) or call an ambulance which means several thousand or try and hope its not something really serious.

Flame me all you want but the bottom line is 80 hospitals closed due to illegals and yes I blame this fu#ed up night on them as I know we wouldnt have nearly a tough decision if there werent so many of them here. Yeah I'm pissed as hell and worried. When it comes down to people you love you get angry and dont care about the argument you care about what you've lossed or could lose.

I'm scared and so is she. We dont know what to do.

My girlfriend says I may have to go just less than a hundred yards down the block and ring the fire station but I've done that before with no response. Once again I blame it on the illegals for my neighbors are 90% illegals as are there kids so they dont answer anymore as its probably BS or a prank.

Thanks to all you taitors in Washington for making a couple citizens lives hell.

I'll go and ring there bell or call 9/11 and wait 5 minutes or do what ever I have to do but damn this sucks.

I did the best I could and comforted her and massaged and she whimpered herself to sleep.

Have no idea what's wrong but she say's its internal. Last time this happened we had no choice but the ambulance. I hope to God she is better tomorrow. I'm fatigued and need sleep. So there I go.

Pranks with 911 are a shitty thing to do. People should be put in jail for it. Things like that make me really, really angry.

The xenophobia is really uncalled for. As mentioned, it's not about color or race - it's about money.

In Ireland we have very few colors, yes here they call themselves colored and if you say black it's offensive. Africans call themselves colored people. In the states, that has a different meaning I know because of the history there, but the rest of the world black people prefer to be called colored.

So we have few here. However, we still have bad neighborhoods where cops/fire brigrade/ambulances won't go after dark without a police escort. Everyone in those neighborhoods is white. Poor, white, and just as violent and cause the same problems.

Blaming it on a 'race' or the color of ones skin is a cop out to avoid the real issue - poverty and elitism.

By keeping you at odds with your neighbors, and keeping you ever vigilant fighting against these other races, you never will rise above where you are now. Because your fighting the wrong person and getting involved in the wrong battles (ie. you will hand out petitions for say immigration reform but will abstain from helping with any living wage reforms), you shoot yerself in the foot and the upper class wins.

Tis the doctrine of Stalin. Make the rich more rich, and the poor more poor, then put the middle class in a tight spot and grind them down until there are only two classes - the ruling class and the masses.

And watching the world news today and yesterday, all the protests over the illegal immagrant laws, didn't see many Eastern European groups out there? I mean, I'm sure they are they, I know many in NYC, but not hundreds of thousands, especially those out there.

That's a pretty weak excuse to not take someone you supposedly 'love' to the hospital!

Here's the thing. It is true that hospitals have been closing all over the US. But it has nothing to do with illegal immigrants. Hospitals close mostly because they can't make their shareholders happy and the investors pull out. (Can I point out how sick it is that you can say those kinds of things about a hospital. When did health become a consumer good?) And the reason you don't want to go to the hospital has nothing to do with illegal immigrants. You don't want to go because, like a lot of people in this country, you work at a job that doesn't provide a health insurance option. That's not immigration, that's cheep corporations. The only tuff decision you faced that night was if you were willing to let the government garnish your wages when you didn't pay your hospital bill. Remember, they still have to help you if you have insurance or not.

And as for being scared...you probably should be. Intense pain in the belly like that is never a good thing. Gas will hurt, but rarely enough to make you pass out. I'd say insurance or no you still need to get your girl to the doctor. If you’re lucky her appendix isn't inflamed.

But that's just my opinion.

I saw him talking about Mexicans and illegals... respectively in a different set of posts. When he spoke of illegals, or living in an immigrant neighborhood, I saw nothing of where those immigrants originated from. Nor did I see any post that linked all illegals to being non-white or mexicans. I may be wrong... I may have read wrong... but I think I'll let 4mytribe go ahead and speak his own words when he responds to this thread.

Your point is? Illegal aliens in this country come in all different shapes, sizes, ages, races, and creeds. Equating them all into being "Mexicans" is an ignorant stereotype.

I agree! Except that all the current immigration reform going on in the US is centered on the Mexican border. Now I could be wrong about that...but I know I heard about a bill that would have us building the equivalent to the Great Wall of China between us and Mexico, but no great wall between us and Canada. So really when you are talking about the current immigration laws, you are talking mostly about Mexican immigration.

Yes, I came across several of his starkly phrased remarks, but supposedly (according to him), he doesn't treat other races as inferior. I didn't exactly see any blatant statements that connected all illegals to being hispanics or people from Mexico on that thread.

I mean I just went over it a while ago and looked through most of his remarks. The few times he did bring up illegal aliens and immigrants, it was vaguely phrased. If it wasn't stated clearly before, I'd like to hear from him whether or not he knows illegal immigrants, especially in California, also include Caucasians/Whites.

This is irrelevant though. He was talking about illegals (I'm assuming as a whole) in California who take up hospital beds and whatnot. Illegals in California include alot of people from Russia and the former Eastern Bloc (including the now Czech Republic and Slovakia) who overstay their legal visas and become illegal aliens in this country. Most of these folks tend to be Caucasians. Atop of that you have Chinese immigrants/aliens and those from a wide array of other origins.

Note to all who have issue with my remark: I know a few people who have been very hurt by members of other races, sparking hatred of that group. I am not condoning that hatred, I only say how can more hate directed at the racist help them think any different? The only thing that will help is someone of that group reaching out in kindness. Repeatedly.
