Tes 5
I can't remember if we've made a Skyrim thread yet.
So. Vikings, eh? Pretty cool, huh? |
Not ready for it! I don't think it would run very well on my laptop, but I hated playing Oblivion on the xbox. I want to mod it, dammit!
|
I might have got a new computer specifically to play modded Bethesda games. I know how horrible it sounds to say this before it's even released, but vanilla Skyrim just won't be as great without them.
To be fair though, look at Oblivion with and without mods. I mean, c'mon. |
Cretins. I was talking about this shit a few months ago.
*edit* That wasn't me. There's nothing to see here. ...cretins. |
Your waiting skill has increased. You should rest and meditate on what you've learned.

...6 hours.
|
I am jelly.

Hah whoo wha! Hah whoo wha! Hah whoo wha!
|
I don't know what you mean! I still can't play it, yet.

I just found a reason to touch this past an hour. Scroll to the bottom to see his other stuff. Finally, I'll live my Conan fantasy. |

Expansion soon. Will get.
|
I never bought any of the expansions for TES games. How are they typically? I'm always hesitant because my understanding of a Bethesda explansion was that bullshit they made for Fallout 3 and New Vegas. If TES "expansions" are like that, I'll definitely pass.
|
Well it depends, you know.
Usually their expansions are like extra chapters. In this upcoming expansion, you have to deal with the old cult Dawnguard, go to Oblivion, and find a seriously powerful vampire coven in which you can either join or fight against. You also get to turn into a vampire lord that enables you to fly from what it looked like. Mounted combat and also crossbows. |
Dark Elves FTW!
|
perk trees for vampires and werewolves.
Now THAT'S awesome. |
I'd bet they're doing that because a big complaint that people had was that vampires and werewolves are pretty weak in the higher levels. They're actually stealing that from the modding community and selling it, like they did with some of NV's new features.
|
Well son of a bitch. :/
I'm lucky only because while I do have skyrim for both PC and 360, it runs so much better on 360. I'm still miffed that they haven't bothered making a perk tree for unarmed combat as if NO ONE in their right mind would EVER want to just punch dragons in the jaw. I guess it's a good thing I know a work around for unarmed fighting to give it some viability late game. |

There are a lot of things like that, though. The whole cooking thing, two handed weapons, archery is fail. I just try to ignore it and have fun. I'm fortunate that I have a beastly compute that can run it so well, though. I don't know what I would do if I couldn't throw axes like a mother fucking badass. |
Oh. And my world map has roads on it!
|
Here you go. I haven't used it, but maybe you can try it and tell me if it works. I'm sure Saya would love to play on the PC. XD

OK, yes. That is pretty helpful. Yeah. *nods*
I'm digging it. It's not perfect, but it seems to smooth things a bit. You may have solved my problems there, V. Thanks. |
