What is your biggest beauty secret?

This is just a thread for everyone to post their tips and tricks on beauty.

My biggest beauty secret is to ALWAYS apply makeup with brushes, for that perfect airbrushed finish.

What are yours?

sickmotherfucker 08-04-2008 09:39 PM

take some cum, put it on a brush and apply it all over the place

KontanKarite 08-04-2008 10:34 PM

Honestly?

Good sleep and hydration.

Keep your hair well conditioned more than clean all the time. I recommend biolage conditioner.

I think the biggest secret to getting a really good, clean shave, is using a badger hair brush and a straight razor. I think it gets a cleaner look then anything else.

I also think they look better, but that's my opinion.

Letting people see my eyes. Makes them wet.

How true. I'm sure he would use his Jedi mind powers to make someone come near him.

Looking good isn't that hard. Just eat well so your skin looks okay, get enough sleep, drink enough water, keep your hair clean and shiny and don't fry it with too much styling. Don't cake on lots of make-up every day, otherwise you'll start feeling weird and self-conscious without it.

I guess the only thing I really do that's that different to others I know is baby powder on my face instead of make-up. But there are probably loads of people who do it already. Also, smelling nice is something that people notice more than you might think.

allways condition twice after dying your hair. also use very cold water for the last rinse every time you wash it, it closes up the cuticals/hair pores so the hair is more shiny.

allways put translucent powder over red listick to stop it going everywere,
it looks better anyway.

have a shower when you come back from a late night concert/whatever because it makes it easier to get up in the morning.

neh thats my best ones, the rest are going to stay secrets for a while longer
.

Don't get too much foundation in your eyebrows. They will go orange, and your friends will laugh at you.

honeythorn 08-05-2008 05:22 AM

Or just don't apply foundation to your eyebrows at all? Why would you?

Genetics and soap.

I don't really have a secret; I just bathe regularly, and comb my hair. :)

I don't wear make-up most of the time because it bothers me. [I think I may be allergic to most of it.]

I would LOVE to do a look similar to the chick in TSOM though. Dude, she was really hot!

Sorbolene (+Glycerin) leaves your skin like silk for yonks with one application. I most often shave with my electric razors and then apply it to my hands and face (this is only when I shave off all my beard) otherwise I may do it only once a month and still have soft skin.

I think my bottle expires in October and it's lasted me since '06

Scareebowfairy 08-06-2008 03:35 AM

If your prone to breakout's like me I must always keep my face clean. Remove make-up ALWAYS before you go to bed.
Also if you get acne scarring or any scarring pure vitamin E oil helps fade it and quickens the healing process, it's worked wonders for me.
This might sound yuck but I only wash my hair 3 times a week because the natural oils are good for your hair, then after I wash my hair it's so soft and shiny, and I'm always complimented on my hair.

constanza 08-06-2008 09:22 AM

if youve got long hair plait it loosly before you go to bed,it saves time brushing in the morning, thank god.

I will try this. I hate seeing my hair dye go down the drain after only a week. But I did notice that when conditioning the color stops running.
Thanks for the tip!

My tip Would be

To get make up off quick even maskara use baby wipes. I always have a pack of baby wipes handy.

MitsyMayhem 08-06-2008 10:12 AM

This is how I keep my face clear.
It's amazing and you can feel the difference almost instantly.
I use it once a week:

Materials needed: NON-COATED aspirin, honey, plate, and a few dabs of water

Go here to watch a two minute video on how to make it..
http://youtube.com/watch?v=3n4dnv3wlSs

Steps

1) Gather all ingredients: 3 tablets of aspirin, honey, and plate
2) Create Mask Paste: Add 2 small drops of water to each aspirin...Don't put a lot of water on cause then it wont work and it'll just be all mushy
3) wait for aspirin to dissolve, then crush them up with your fingers
4) Add honey and mix it...making a thick paste
5) Apply mask to face for 10 minutes
6) Wash face with warm water in circular motion
7) Moisturize your face with moisturizer
8) TADAAAA...Face is beautiful!

I love men's cologne, especially on females.
It's great.

Paigeybobert 08-06-2008 01:11 PM

Heh, I'm a female who wears men's cologne. ;]

Underwater Ophelia 08-06-2008 02:17 PM

I'm not really a fan of most men's colognes.

All the cologne here is unisex, with a few exceptions:
