Okay! I contacted the admin several times through the "Contact us" link, and I also reported posts and gave infractions - no reaction.
I hereby encourage all of you to contact the admins so we can have this mess cleaned up.

I think a while ago I said people should give infractions, but I was wrong - they're the less effective option for spam.

Wasn't Admin saying that reporting was what would get it taken care of?

Yes, but then he also said that reporting was broken, and who knows if that works right now. So report the posts AND contact them - if we spam their inbox enough, I bet they'll eventually get tired of it and fix it.

Infractions are fine. Since people had problems with the 'report post' option, we've been keeping an eye on post infractions as well, lately. Sorry they have not been as timely as some of you would prefer, but they do actually generally get taken care of.

Some of these new spambots are actually advertising Google....... o.O

Yeah this spam problem has gotten completely out of control. 6 whole list pages per category of spam.

To report spam there's an endless cycle of report, wait the 60 seconds required, do something else and get logged out for being inactive.. and more just spews out while you're doing that handful.

I gave up and contacted the admin saying that the spam was coming faster than I could report.

I just sent a message to admin via "Contact Us", let´s see what happens. I just joined this forum a little while ago and would really like to participate but it´s a little irritating to find 99 spams and one real post in the "New Posts" every time.
