Wow that's awesome. Are you cosplaying a character or ? (I'm getting a celestial/demonic impression)

Pr1aP1sm 11-23-2015 02:18 AM

Cool Picture!

...Love the hood/cowl look, and it works well with the face paint.

Anise 11-23-2015 12:29 PM

Fabulous! <3

I was nothing in particular. It was Halloween and I just wanted to be spooky.

Anise 11-24-2015 03:20 AM

Spooky indeed but also shockingly beautiful <3
I simply love what you've created there!
For Hallows I went with Kayako Saeki, she's a personal fave.
Wasn't partaking in revelry, just an eve at home doling out candy.
But the mini ghosts, vampires and spooks who came a-knocking appreciated!

Here's a couple more for shits & giggles :p

Anise... These are really cool!
I think my favorite is the 2nd picture, but they're all good.

Halloween has always been special to me. But I rarely get dressed up for it anymore.
I do however enjoy 'dolling out the candy'. Getting to see all the little monsters in their costumes, happy with that spark of excitement you only get on All Hallows' Eve.
Then when the candy's all gone, it's my turn to go out and raise some Hell.

If I may be so nosey... What about Kayako Saeki makes her a personal favorite?
Thanks for sharing. Beautifully Creepy Pics!

Well it worked and looks fucking awesome.

Nice one Anise! I snickered while watching the movie because it was so theatrical but later was unsettled. A real subtle creepiness.

Anise 11-24-2015 03:25 PM

Pr1aP1sm aww hey thanks my Friend :D

Eeeee I love Hallows, love Samhain <3
When I was little my GrandMother would leave offerings for the dead relatives.
Kinda like what children do at Christmas for Santa .. cookies & milk?
Hahaa but Gran's would be either Whisky or Rum and a plate of shortbread ;)
She'd say that my Great~Grandparents and all of our ancestors would be visiting that night; the only time that they were permitted to visit earth ..
Her demeanour would be expressively happy, with an underlying sadness.
I adored her, and have a strong internal desire to rekindle memories of her and strive to maintain a connection with her by marking our traditional times ..

Ahhh dear Kayako, so beautiful .. so tragic!
She makes a pretty ghost. Like Poe said the untimely death of a young and beautiful woman is strangely beautiful ... it's a tragedy. It is poetry.
“When it most closely allies itself to Beauty: the death then of a beautiful woman is unquestionably the most poetical topic in the world ..."

Kayako rocks, she's lonely, sad, vengeful, creepy as fuck and best of all makes that awesome Eeeaaargh croaking noise :p What's not to love?

EEEEEEAaAaaaaArrrrrRRGH!

Hear ya! I love Japanese & Korean films, great stories ;)
Memories of Matsuko, Old Boy, Sympathy for Lady Vengeance ..
All great friends lol, great stories often allow for great scripts.
And boy I love a good dollop of theatrics daaahling :D

Acharis 11-24-2015 07:20 PM

Ohh. Lady Vengeance! Visually beautiful film, smart with the tricks, and quite a gut punch at the end. I would love to pull off Geum Ja's red eyeshadow but on me it'd likely look tacky.

A grandparents wisdom...
It sounds like she meant a lot to you.

Did you leave Rum & Shortbread this year?

Sometimes the offerings we make in silence,
The ones we give despite our doubt,
Are by far the must important.

Anise 11-28-2015 12:54 PM

*fashionably late*

Yep, my Gran was my beacon of hope, I lived with her partly in my childhood.
Ya know I didn't! Hehee I popped out a bowl of apples and some leftover candy arranged around the bowl artistically lmaooo .. as if to say soz there's no Rum!

Hey those last lines of your post ~ lovely! Really strike a chord <3
