Research for my essay
I'm working on a personal essay at the moment and I'm discussing the audience for the contemporary short story and I was wondering if you guys could answer a couple of questions for me.
1. Do you write short stories? 2. Do you spend any time online reading short stories? (If yes, do you do it often? If no, why not?) 3. As writers, do you feel that it is important to go into sites that offer short stories and have a read and show your support? 4. If you come across a good site that offers short stories, do you recommend it to your friends, family and colleges? 5. Do you prefer to read short stories online, in magazines or in book format? 6. Would you ever publish a short story on the Internet? Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Jules |

As writers, do you feel that it is important to go into sites that offer short stories and have a read and show your support? Not really but I do think it's a nice thing to do. 4. If you come across a good site that offers short stories, do you recommend it to your friends, family and colleges? Of course. 5. Do you prefer to read short stories online, in magazines or in book format? Book. 6. Would you ever publish a short story on the Internet? I think I have, actually. and no problem! :) ~Gaia<3 |

As writers, do you feel that it is important to go into sites that offer short stories and have a read and show your support? Sure it's important. I just don't do it. 4. If you come across a good site that offers short stories, do you recommend it to your friends, family and colleges? Sure. I would, that is. 5. Do you prefer to read short stories online, in magazines or in book format? In book format. When I read magazines, I don't expect to be spending any length of time reading stories. 6. Would you ever publish a short story on the Internet? Yes. |
