Sushi is her favorite food she can eat 70 pieces at one meal.

Ms Simpson, from Ohio is now trying to reach a bodyweight of 1,000lb (71 stone) and has cut down on her movement in a bid to reach her goal.

Last Christmas she ate a 30,000 calorie Christmas dinner consisting of two 11kg (25lb) turkeys, two maple-glazed hams, 6.8kg (15lbs) of potatoes - 4.5kg (10lbs) roast, 2.3kg (5lbs) mashed, five loaves of bread, 2.3kg of herb stuffing, three litres of gravy, three litres of cranberry dressing and 9kg (20lbs) of vegetables and the dessert consisted of a ‘salad' made of marshmallow, cream cheese, whipped cream and cookies.

Ms Simpson who charts her progress on www.officialdonnasimpson.com charges for access to watch her eating at rates of around $20 for 30 days.

She recently separated from her husband who she met in an online chat room for men who like big women. She gave birth to her daughter Jacqueline in 2007 by caesarean section with 30 doctors in attendance. She then weighed 532lb.

At the age of 9, she weighed 184 pounds and after being bullied and nicknamed "fatty four-eyes" at school, her weight continued to increase.

After her mother died, her father remarried and at the age of 11 her stepmother put her on a diet and took her to a doctor, who prescribed diet pills. By the time she was 18, she had slimmed down to 154 pounds but ultimately, she decided she did not want to be thin.

Doctors have expressed horror at her eating plan and warned that she risks premature death by the pressure she is placing on her organs.

How's she supposed to support a 90k lifestyle? How about she goes on diet and changes her lifestyle to something far below 90k? That would be my solution. We get by on much less than 90k a year, most people do. It wouldn't be hard to put most of it in a savings account and reduce the amount of spending and food intake. Then, she would have money to live on while looking for a job.

I don't know what disgusts me the most about this. Tie between the fact that she feels like she has to do this and that people actually pay money to watch her like she's some sideshow.

She needs psychological help. At first, my initial reaction was that what she was doing was so pathetic, we should put her out of her misery. But then I was all compassionate and feel that for the good of her children, we should probably step in and... fix her. At this point, I think her kids deserve a healthy and sane mother. Not this one ton train wreck.

Maybe because my father was a farmer who raised and slaughtered his own sheep and cattle, but I cannot help thinking of her massive consumption as an investment that can be extracted somehow from her acquired fat.

Maybe she can have liposuction and have the fat made into human fat based candles, they may command a high price as novelty items, or sell the excess skin to leather makers who can then make high priced book covers etc.

Or dare I say: sell it on the black market to cannibals who can use her fat to flavor soups?

Actually, I agree with the troll. I'm skeptical about her goals to actually become the heaviest woman ever, the woman who owns that record weighed twice as much and had a very unhappy life with a tragic ending. This is an article coming from tabloid sites, and is just like posting "you guys watch Jerry Springer today?"

That said, there are sites that have women eating and men pay to watch them eat and gain weight. I really wish I could find the article where I read about it, but I recall it saying that many of the women had mentally abusive relationships with "chubby chasers", and were under enormous pressure to keep eating. It eventually becomes like anorexia. Which I don't think is a bad comparison, given that there are also websites where anorexic girls are paid to show off their increasingly emaciated bodies and are groomed for anorexia porn from teenage pro-anorexia forums.

Some people like to pay a lot of money to watch women deteriorate mentally and physically, and slowly kill themselves, I suppose.

If she was my friend, I'd have the hard talk with her (but then I'm a bitch like that), but you can't help people who dont' want to be helped. Sometimes though, you need someone who loves you to slap you in the face (verbally) so you realise what you are doing to yourself.

I read somewhere that peopel who have gastric bypass surgery to lose weight, and who don't treat the underlying emotional eating problems, go on to develop other addictions, such as gambling, and sex addictions....
