Help with an awesome outfit.
Last time I asked for help I got great leads (Thanks especially to HP, I loved Thrifty Beatnik)
So I'm asking for help again. In two weeks, it's gonna be one of my best friend's birthday. We have selected a theme for his party: GLAM! So we all have to find and rock a glam outfit. The choice is pretty simple for me; I want to go glam goth, but also not too goth, just enough; more glam than goth. I've asked a friend to cut my hair to a combination of a deathawk and a pompadour. It's so clear in my head and I think it will look awesome. That pretty much will sum up the goth part, so now for the glam: For the outfit I don't have anything yet. What do you guys recommend I should wear? Bear in mind that I don't have any time to buy any clothes. I have to improvise with what I have and accessorize - there's the real fun and where I need advise. Make-up ideas are also welcome. |
For makeup go for angles, strong eyebrows and contoured cheeks by sweeping dark eye-shadow beneath the cheek bones. New Romantic make up will give you inspiration..sequins, pvc anything shiny....as well as tight for a sleek look.

You could add metal studs and a bunch of rhinestones and glitter to everything. Also, glam metal band members tend to wear a lot of scarves wrapped around their neck, waist, and head. (As an extra touch, studded wristbands, fingerless leather gloves, and chains would help.) |
Look up pix of Adam Ant, Andi Sexgang and Johnny Slut.

Jonny Slut, sorry.

David Bowie Ala the goblin king is a great reference to "glam goth" Try something of that nature, Minus the mad camel hump

Please, the crotch bulge was arguably the best bit.
