I'm not! I'm in that awkward time of life where I'm really over the young partying student phase, but not many of my friends are. Even though a lot of them aren't students anymore. I volunteered at the center last semester too but I couldn't make it to any of the meetings and no one else shared my hours, so its great to finally hang out with people who enjoy painting and drinking tea on Sunday afternoons.

I got back into songwriting over the last few days, and am now thinking about knocking together a concept album. Just some acoustic shit for fun. I was gonna ask a couple of friends if they were iterested but I think I'd rather just do it myself.

The buses are coming back FINALLY tomorrow, and better yet, for the next two weeks its going to be free to ride them, and then for the last two weeks of Feb its only going to be a dollar a ride. Which is great, thanks to all the cab fare I had to pay I really don't wanna fork out money for a bus pass.

I just got back from seeing the King's Speech and I have to say I really enjoyed it, perhaps more so than those with me who didn't know as much of the history but still everyone thought it was quite good.

I got a letter from the Women's Studies department congratulating me for being in the top 20% last semester grade wise, and telling me I should major in WS.
Also today was Eating Disorder Awareness day, and they had counselors assessing people to see if you need counselling for eating disorders. I certifiably do not have an eating disorder! They gave me a non-vegan granola bar as a prize. |
My bike is done being worked on! I can ride it again tomorrow after having it in storage for SEVEN years! Not saying I will ride it though because it's so freaking cold still, but when it warms up a bit, oh, it's ON!!
