I've never had to squat in the woods, but is it even possible to aim your poops that well? What if you have diarhhea?

Yeah, its easier than it sounds, just make sure and pull the waist-band of your pants forward so they don't get splash-back.

I bet they are really annoying in the mornings where you are tired and your muscles aren't warmed up properly yet.

In a public toilet in Hong Kong, there is a sign that says "no squatting on toilet".

And yes, they aren't bad to use - you get used to it. Good for the thigh muscles and all that - just don't lose your balance!

Oh and the flushing is done by the bucket.

Depending on where the meatus actually is, it's fairly easy to train yourself to aim.

And it comes in handy at music festivals.

When I have to unload the torpedo shaft in the morning, I don't want to strain my muscles just trying to keep my balance so I don't mess up the floor. Healthy or not.

Couldn't they make toilet seats lower than usual with raised foot steps ? Kind of putting the user into a semi squat? Got to say that flat one does look hard to aim on... the hole isn't all that big :eek:

Rather the small hole than one you could fall into if you lost your balance though...
