I've hinted about this in another thread. I get quite annoyed when the things I like suddenly get "trendy" and, eventually, categorized under some stereotype. It might be because I don't like being limited to that "one" definition. For instance, I've held a fascination for vampires before the masses thought they were fashionable. After (here it comes) "Twilight" I generally avoid mention of vampires when in the company of people who might get the impression that I am into the saga or whatever preconceived notions they might have of people who read the books. That's just one. I can't think of any other at the moment.
