True, music doesn't make you a goth.
A person is only a goth if that's how they identify themselves, or other folks call him/her that.
Mind you, I find it hard to believe that any person would identify themselves as a goth *just* because of the music they listen to.
I'm inclined to think that they are either unable to properly put into words why they identify themselves as goths, or the goth thing is just a passing phase.
Either way, don't let it keep you up nights...
