Honestly, marriage is a bad idea.
It's outdated, it's nearly guaranteed to make those involved miserable--even if you don't divorce, and it's expensive as hell.
Also, I feel like among people who aren't weak-minded idiots, it's completely pointless. If I love a person, I'll always be mindful of his or her feelings, I'll be faithful to that person, and I will consider that person when making life choices.
I don't need a marriage certificate and a party to ensure that I'll do that. I'll do it because I love and respect the person enough to.
