This is true of any pregnancy that lacks prenatal care.
The only reason LBW and complications occur more often with teenaged mothers is because of lack of or less than adequate prenatal care.
As far as educational or economic disadvantages.. it's all in how much support you have. Age of the parent does not reflect parenting ability in and of itself.
