Hello! I'm looking to meet people, hoping to make friends and all that fun stuff. I'm a bit shy, so that may be hard. I do have a few things about myself, in case anyone is interested.

1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
I do office work nights and weekends. I write in my spare time.

2. Where are you from?
I'm from North Carolina! I've lived here practically all my life.

3. Who is your favorite author?
That one is sort of hard. I do like authors who write the classics-Oscar Wilde, Edgar Allan Poe and HP Lovecraft-but I'm also fond of fantasy writers like Patricia A. McKillip and Tanith Lee.

4. What are your favorite films?
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, surprisingly. But I also like the 1999 Sleepy Hollow.

5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
I'm not sure. I don't even know if I'll get married. There's always the famous "Bridal Chorus" from Lohengrin. I do like classical music.

6. At your funeral?
I suppose we'll go with the classic requiems. The "Lacrimosa" sequence from Mozart's requiem would be nice. Of course, there is also "Funeral Music for Queen Mary" by Henry Purcell, which is one of my favorites.

7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
In my sleep, preferably when I'm old. Haven't really thought about it.

8. What kind of casket would you want?
It's weird, but something simple, I suppose? I haven't thought this far out.

9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
Oooh! Let's see, black velvet shirt, black pleather skirt, black tights, and my favorite boots. I'd add my usual choker and lace gloves.

10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
It's nice not to worry about things.

11. What's your favorite band?
Hooo. My music tastes run all over the place from the Gothic to the...not. I'm really fond of the Sisters of Mercy, Joy Division, Bauhaus and the Cure. Uh, as for music that isn't really Goth Rock, well, there's Rammstein, Blutengel and Cradle of Filth. I also really like David Bowie, so there's that. Oh, and Abney Park-I can't believe I forgot about them.

12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
Currently in college studying Office Administration.

13. Why did you join?
Here? Hoping to meet people, make friends, come out of my shell some.

14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
I'm female.
