Totally, that shit gets pretty old.
My usual retort is this.
Guy gets "frienzoned", he gets sympathy from his friends and she's generally viewed as some stupid girl who doesn't know what's good for her own self.
Lady gets "frienzoned", she's expected to get over the fact that he doesn't like her like that, no questions asked.
Bleh... fucking gender in culture makes me wanna chew on my own facebones.
