I had coffee at Megeara's house before my parents came to get me. Then I had lunch with my family and my kid sister's friend, though not before we had an argument on whether the back of the car is the "trunk" or the "boot".
"I need to put my bag in the boot!" I exclaimed upon realizing that I had not.
"Why would you put your bag in a shoe?" my sister inquired in her annoying, screeching voice.
"Not a boot, the boot, as in the back of the car," said I knowledgeably.
"You mean the trunk." her friend said obnoxiously.
"No, I mean the boot, now shut up before I throw you out the window." I concluded the conversation in a deadpan tone.
