You can use agave as a diabetic friendly sweetener, apparently the body metabolizes it differently than other sugars, it doesn't work in all recipes (like a lot of cookies, it messes with the texture, but is okay in softer ones like molasses cookies). There are a lot of diabetics in Jake's family and I've been able to make some goodies for them, I'll see if I can dig up some recipes for you (usually I just kind of do recipe conversion on the fly).

I know for a fact that the Whole Foods here already has eggnog, I'm not a huge eggnog fan but Jake was obnoxiously giddy about it.
