My lack of interest in your evident self-esteem issues aside, the content of my post wasn't "You're a dumbass". It was, "You keep resorting to a dumb straw man argument. It makes you look like an idiot. Stop it."
As for the rest - I stand by the metal analogy. Sure, there's nothing to STOP you being a dickhole, and maybe a good enough friend will tolerate it. Doesn't make a dickhole into anything other than a peeing tube with extra perjorative.
