I became the victim of sexual assault. The way I was treated by the police when they found out that I have had partners of both genders in the past was shocking. Being bisexual, pansexual, gay, lesbian, trans, even asexual, does NOT mean someone has the right to violate you.
They call it "corrective". I call it sick.
Don't worry about the thread necro! Its something that deserves to be talked about. I'm so sorry you've had to go through that. Sadly that seems to be fairly common treatment given to to sexual assault survivors, particularly among the LGBT community.
