A part of me wants to say "yes", but the truth is that I'd do the same thing. I let my bettie bangs grow out because I got tired of hearing that I looked
just like 10 other females with bangs.
So, no, it's not sad. When someone tries to look just like you and you value your individuality it can put you off. I sure as fuck don't want to look the same as everyone else.
