I love the whole "Denver Sound" movement-- that is, a group of recent alt-country bands out of Denver that includes Slim Cessna's Auto Club and 16 Horsepower. I'm starting to get into cowpunk, psychobilly, and other unholy crossbreeds.

I like some rap, now that Paigeybobert mentions it.

I'm listening to Jay Munly (and the Lee Lewis Harlots) right now. Dark country with no guitars-- the band consists of the singer, two violinists, a cellist, and a drummer.
