I'd hate to be a stickler for bullshit, but there's something I've always wanted to know...
Why do people not use proper grammar by default on the internet? It just makes little sense to me that you would want people to think you didn't know how to use proper grammar. Why do we have to tell people to watch their grammar here? It's really sad if you think about it.

I think its because people are too lazy when they type, and having bad grammar makes typing faster. Or maybe they just don't understand that grammar is appreciated even outside of english class.
I think that we tell people to watch it because its technically a literary site, and most people here are of the opinion that its a headache to read something with no grammar or terrible spelling.
