London After Midnight

What Do You Think Of This Band?
Best song? Worst Song? etc...

I myself have an obsession with The Bondage Song at the moment...

It's my favorite band.
And hell, I just noticed it's the first thread of them!

I like 'Kiss'. I think it's the drums that does it...

I'm in the process of immersing myself into this band, as I've only heard the song, "Shatter". I am impressed, however, and am currently searching for new tracks.

If I recall correctly, Jillian, you were the one who introduced me to them when I was new to Gnet.

"Take me... take me in your arms my love and **** me"
That's the only time I have liked the word ****. Of course if someone comes up saying something about that is either being a prick, or doesn't know anything about Brennan's style.
Would it make you feel any better if it's a man singing to a woman? (that's directed towards the hypothetical antagonist that would take the song too seriously)

Trouble believing I'm 14? Or did you mean someone else. My mother actually feels I am quite immature...

I didn't even remember that. I'm funny. :P
But focus! We're talking about the band that makes me scream like a little girl.

I like 'em. My favorite song would definitely be "Shatter (All My Dead Friends)."

I'm not so crazy about their pro-vegan and animal rights ideals. Don't get me wrong I love animals, it's just those certain groups that piss me off. *coughs* Ahem, Peta. Well, at least I know my mindset is much more conventional than I thought.

Other than that I dig their strong political messages. Get's me rallied up.

London After Midnight have to be one of the sexiest bands ever, and I'm just talking about the music here (don't even get me started on Sean Brennan *drool*).

Your Best Nightmare, The Bondage Song, Kiss, Shatter (All My Dead Friends), Sacrifice, Claire's Horrors, Psycho Magnet, Spider and the Fly... All amazing, and all pure sex in musical form.

They're ok in my book. I like "Letters to God" and the oh so cheesey "Claire's Horrors".

I second my fellow Mad Hatter on all that! Took the words right out of my mouth.

Sex in musical form: That's the best way to describe them.
Haunted, I can't believe you don't like them that much. XD
Have you heard the song Your Best Nightmare? It's both erotic and hilarious.

I havn't actually. I don't know what it is about them that keeps me from liking them as much as everyone else. I guess it could be that their music is less raw. Also I'm one for liking the more punky side of goth and thats something that isn't too present in thier music.

I'm fond of their older stuff, "Ice" being one of my absolute favourites, along with "Your best nightmare" and "Your best nightmare". I can't say I listen a lot to their new stuff, or anything of theirs that's got lots of bleeping (EBM influences) in it (I hate EBM with all my heart, sorry folks).

Honestly, I think they're cheesy as hell. I have their "oddities" CD, but I picked it up years ago when I was first getting into goth, buying CDs I thought I might like.
They're just...dumb. It's so overdone it makes me laugh.

I can't help but smile whenever I listen to that song, its quite briliant.

And my favourite song is probably Shatter or Kiss...or maybe Demon

"The Bondage Song" is a good one, but overall I find the band quite boring.
Anyone heard their rendition of "Sally's Song" from NMBC?

Yup. It's pretty cute, by I prefer Fiona Apple's version.

Have sex with London After Midnight in the background and you'll find the adjective of 'boring' as a bit lacking.
A better description would be simply 'appropriate'. XD
