Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL.

Music: Messages for the Soul

As I've said before, I'm "new" to the Goth Scene. I've been mainly focused on the music aspect of it, and there's a lot of stuff I love, and a lot of stuff I hate.
I love the darkwave music, like Lycia, and the classical stuff like Voltaire. Industrial sounds AMAZING to me--:wumpscut:!--and Siouxie and the Banshees make me smile.
But...I've tried, really I have, tried to listen to the "original" Goth music--you now, the 80's bands with all the bass. Sorry, but I only like a few songs here and there, and the songs I DO like, don't really "speak" to me.

Other than that, I like metal. I like hard rock. Alternative stuff; Korn, SOAD, Disturbed, Depeche Mode(isn't that considered Goth, lol?)--all kinds.
Also, I can listen to Enya, Inkkubus Sukkubus, Celtic Woman, Within Temptation.
So, my taste in music is very flexible.

What about you? What do you like?
Anything you guys can refer me to? :]
Thankee Sai. :3
