Good goth, this is an outrage. Is this the person who's been making those obnoxious prep bunny that says smartass stuff? Not only does he rip off the well-done and macabre-ly gothic comic Lenore (one of my favourites, and I've known Roman's work for years) but he rips off the humour as well. God...this guy is....GRGRGRGRGRGRGRGRGRGRGRGGRRGRRGRGRGRGGRRGGR I draw dark gothic comics kind of like Lenore, and plagirsim is something I've obviously been against for a while now (sorry for my spelling) God...and he does this to make MONEY. I think the real question should be is have we already passed that point. Is original thought dead (as is the theme of several of my other posts)? Spoofs are on the rise of youtube and elsewhere. They have entire contests designed around spoofs. All spoofs really are is plagerism. Is there anything we can really do short of cleaning out the memories of the entire world?

But this is blatant THEFT. It's fucking theft, people. This isn't about the world losing its artistic integrity, this is about a fucking criminal making a living off of others' work. This isn't some light hearted spoof or some trendy thing on Youtube. This is fucking crime and this fucker is getting away with it.

I think that the bottom line is that we need to look at each case of plagiarism in general. If we can make examples of those we catch, we may not stop it, but we can possibly prevent it from occuring again. We have the power to stand up for these artists; why not use it?

Some people at my school are angry at me for having posted that website...they're trying to defend Todd Goldman's honour (like he has any) and therefore refuse to listen to the voice of reason --> me!
