What do you think? people go on and on and on about how all gothics are suicidal. I mean, even before i was suffering depresion, people used to ask me if i was going to kill myself. When I asked them why, they would reply, "because you're a goth" to which i would reply, "what's a goth?" and then a long arguement would follow about what a goth was, detracting from the origianal question. This thread is more of a question then a whinging sesion at this point, because i dont wanna put myself out there and get my ass flamed until I feel the vibe around the subject... so I guess the question is, how many of you are depressed/suicidal? Obviously you dont have to answer, it is a very blatent question I know, and usually i would be a bit more diplomatic, but i can't be fucked at this point. I am, and yer, I want to talk about it, becaus ei have noone else to talk to, I am a loner at my school and in my own home, I was hoping to be able to talk about it on here, but i want to suss shit out first... answer if you want to...

Depressed yes. Suicidal no.
People are really dumb if they think all Goths are suicidal. I'm sure some are, but I'm also sure a lot of "normal" people are too. I'm sick of people assuming people are messed up because they're goth. There are a whole hell of a lot of people in the world more screwed up then any Goth I know.
People just dont understand, and I doubt they ever will.

Thanks "suicide messiah" and "phayte" for providing decent answers as opposed to numerous insults. And for the record, I think that you are doing the same thing as all the alleged "attention seekers" in claiming that you "shit" is so much worse than everyone else's you are no better than that which you claim to despise. A note also, if people are attention seeking, it is probably because they need the attention. Did you think about that. god, it amazes me how people who bitch about the close mindedness of the general society can be so close minded and judgmental themselves. Besides, what the hell do you think this is? A competition to see who is the most screwed up? God, some people go on here because they actually think that people will listen and understand (not me but some people i know) and at this point, and many points prior, i am confused as to where they get the inspirations when people flame them for asking and responding to a somewhat direct, but harmless question.
