I've had it up to here, with my hair! Some one help me with techniques to put it up!

How do I do my hair like that with out it going all bumpy and looking crap.
I can't hold it up with one hand.
While tieing with a band it falls out of place.
The other side is never the same as the other side.
Getting frustrated, s'not working. *sulk*

Does anyone else put their hair up like this?
How do you do it?

okie dokie...

First, section your hair appropriately, then with a comb or brush, brush your hair over and over into the pigtails....like...REALLY! get it tight. Don't let it go either. When it's tight enough tie it with 2-3 bands and give it a dash of hairspray.

If you're wearing falls aswell, twist the hair into a bun and with several thick bands tie the bun into place. Then tie the falls in.

Just some cotton covered elastic bands.
