Why would it be weird for a goth to be a life guard? Are goths only allowed to work at cemetaries, morgues and such?

Welcome.

As far as the lifeguard thing goes, here are the occupations of the goths I know:

restaurant manager
stay-at-home mom
internet chat agent
baker
carwash attendant.

Please tell me which of those are gothier than beng a lifeguard?

As far as the judging thing goes, here's my take on it:

Judge not lest ye be judged (Yup, kiddles, that's the bible). That means if you quit judging all the people here based on the name of the site, I'll try not to judge you based on the questionable content of your first few posts.

And please always remember to disable your caps lock.

I call it covering my ass, It was my first post in an area that im unfamilar with so, if you people were, by chance ass holes, and posers, then I would have gotten a lot of crap about being a life guard and a goth as I've had in the past, so I was covering my ass

Aww, how sweet-- now he's crabby.

Could I not also have been covering my ass? You have 8 posts-- do I have any way of knowing you're not an asshole or a poseur that judges people based on their level of goth?
