Fashion DIY tips and gratuitous plugs. And hair. Hair! Flow it, show it. Wait...no. That's some hippie musical. Nevermind. |

Ravers
are any of you even tempted to dress like a raver? I can see the appeal of it, I guess. I think thier hair is fun. but Im not sure I could stand being so HAPPY all the time. lol. I think the way they dress is fun though.

I could, and I would love it too. Being all bright and flashy, and happy, and really not caring about anything.
Plus, neon is just a cool color.

I love raver/cyber hair too. I'm really keen to try and emulate it, but I need mine to grow first. >_<
Plus I love all their bright jewellery and UV/neon clothing. My favourite shop in the world is the massive Cyberdog store in London, and I'll easily spend an hour in there whether I'm buying anything or not... Next thing on my list of clothes-I-really-want-to-buy is a pair of black baggy Cyberdog trousers with steel buckles & rivets and UV green straps. I just hope it's still on sale next time I go. >_>

I dress like that often. Neon and electic colors (fave color electric blue!). I've been to multiple raves, and even when on drugs, they are the most fun I have ever had.

Too much anger...
WHAT THE FUCK.
WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO DRESS LIKE AN ASSHOLE WHO SAYS 'CUNT' WAAAAAAY TOO MUCH?!
Not to mention, it's so fucking hideous a fashion, between the GIANT pants, and the glowsticks, and whatever the hell else. Not to mention they GLOW.
All they do is go to parties, where they get fucked up out of their minds, and then bash their sister's face in.
By the way, there is no such thing as a happy machine.
Cryuntildeath, go die. I hope you mess with the wrong rivethead and get killed.

That place is eeexpensive. How can you charge so much for glowing plastic... Its interesting to look at but I doubt I'd ever buy anything from them. Cyberdog have an online shop if you didn't know. Don't think it has their full range of items. Theres lots of places I prefer in Camden to Cyberdog, the market is pretty cool, and you can haggle with some of the people there.

I think I'm safe, the other places in Camden aren't UV styled, theres many types of clothes etc there. Cyberdog is one that I don't buy from because I would never wear that stuff and it costs too much. Hence the markets, I prefer the stuff they sell and its cheap(er) - still London though. And theres the other shops.
I do find it interesting to look in Cyberdog because theres some crazy stuff, so maybe maggot would just hurt me a little...

Eh. I'm bored, so I'm going to respond to this, half-seriously.
It's the same reason I stick UV reactant paint on my fan blades on my PC, or use glow-in-the-dark wires for my hard drives. It looks cool in the dark, and is comfortable (For my PC I can imagine anyway. Not having all those hideous IDE lines everywhere).

I meet some really beautiful ravers/goths last weekend they where very polite and friendly, it looks good on some people but i would feel silly with a "if it don't glow it don't go" style of dressing.

Those kids wearing candy colors, scooting around in falling-off-your-ass pants and on extacy?
God, NO.
Not for me.

I was a raver for 8 year! It's every bit as bad as people make it out to be and thensome!!!
That was 8 years of my childhood wasted on drugs and mind-numbing music.
I still listen to the music, and I did learn a lot from being a raver, but still. I speak from experience and believe me when I say "you're not missing anything. In fact, you're better off!"
