Quesion about college
By the time I graduate highschool, I'll have two college years done.. however, I don't want to finish college here.
Are there any special colleges for those who want to be cartoonists and comic book artists?

My sister went to the Acadamy of Arf in S.F. and they had cartoonists there. However, art school is alot of money and its hard to get work as an artist. Cliche but true... Its a sad world for us creative creatures

It's The Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art. I wanted to go when I heard about it in the 80's, but I was poor.

Ya it is an awesome school and the city is pretty cool. There is a great industrial scene there, if you could get an ID. Its a fun town for sure.

Not that I've ever heard of, most colleges will cater mostly to either fine art or things design related. Your best bet is to find one you like and just take as many courses to do with drawing as you can, I can't really give much solid advice I'm afraid as I'm not quite to the point were I'm looking into art colleges yet and I can only give advice on Britain.
The only real piece of advice I can give you if you are thinking of going into comic books is life drawing, go to as many classes as you possibly can, It's a nessessity for any art that includes people and for comic books it's the basis of everything you draw.
