What are you talking about? There's about 8 million blacks living below the poverty line, and almost twice as many whites. Don't say that "everyone knows" such things, because that's one of the first steps toward racism.

Actually, she's not wrong - a higher percentage of black than white Americans live below the poverty line. While we all know Weepingblood's not the sharpest tool in the kit, I think the accusation of racism's pretty harsh in this instance.

I didn't make an accusation of racism, I warned against going down that path.

L’oiseau Noir
You sight many governmental scholarship programs for Latinos and members of the African Diaspora. You talk as though these scholarships prove there is no institutionalized racism etc. But the fact that so many of “us” need scholarships is because we are disadvantaged and discriminated against. And instead of actually fixing these problems we get scholarships or charity. We are forced to be in a position where we must accept charity from the oppressors just so we can meet their standards of success. Which puts us into a position of dependence. Should we bow down and thank the Gov for the scarps off their plates???
I would rather be able to pay for my own schooling (seeing as this is capitalism) then have to admit that I do not have the means to pay for it myself. That I am not capable or sufficient so I must go and ask them to help me. When I shouldn’t need their help. The system should operate in a way that actually sets me up to have equal opportunity, instead of giving me the short end of the stick and then giving me some hand out(up) that I should apparently feel great full for. When the whole reason that I need a hand out is because of them.
And then you say that white will be the ”minority” by 2050. Whites will always be outnumbered by people of color (I.e. everyone else.) Even though whites represent a smaller part of the world population they hold allot power, money and advantage.
Next.
Where I live there is a curfew. During school days those under 18 are not allowed outside between the hours of 8 Am and 2 pm. And then we must be inside again before 11 pm. On weekends 12 pm. I never follow the curfew because my mom allows me out and I never get caught. I could get into trouble for violating curfew. I believe the reason they gave for issuing the curfew was to bring the murder rate down. Is that even legal?
The curfew is the manifestation on racism classicism and oppression.
The way “law enforcement” deals with the “citizens” here is disgusting. When they ask you questions they talk down to you, they put their hands on their guns like they will pull it out any second.
And then this so called “war on drugs” its bullshit. I know cops that will pull up drug dealers take the drugs and then leave the dealer. The cops are sooo crooked they use drugs themselves.
Despite the fact that I feel school is inhumane etc. Lets me make this argument under the assumption that school is good and needed for success.
Africans, Latinos, Polynesians, Micronesians, etc. Usually get a insufficient and un equal education. And seeing as our country gives this whole idea that education is key to success. The country cant say that we have an equal chance or that policy is not racist.
I not sure if I even think that its good for people of color to “succeed” under the status quo of what is considered to be success.

No im not saying we should all just be drug dealers etc. But I am saying that in order to “succeed” in this society as a black/Latino/Etc you have to compromise your self. At times I feel as though The Amerikkka or at least the dominant side of Amerikkka is detrimental to our souls. I mean do I really want to be a wall street executive or a congress member when I know that I will only be continuing the type of imperialism, colonialism, and policy, that has cost my people so much? DO I really want to the adopt thought patters and beliefs of the people who have proven themselves to be bad.
