Thanks Solumina, and I feel for you. I picked up the last of my stuff, and it was more than I thought and now my room is full of boxes again, and I'm so sick of unpacking its been in here for over a week now.

We started moving in on the 10th, we should be done by now but there is still crap at the old place and there are boxes everywhere at the new place. I don't know where all of this stuff came from, and more importantly I have no idea where I'm going to put it, especially kitchen stuff as my new kitchen is simultaneously larger, with almost twice as much counter space, and severely lacking in cabinet space (mostly because the cabinets are about an inch or so too shallow to hold a fair number of my things). It looks like I'm going to have to get creative, but I have instead decided that it is a better use of my time to stay up late catching up on facebook, gnet, and various other internet stuff, while enjoying a large amount of whipped lightning.

I ended up throwing my furniture away. The goodwill wanted to be a pain in the ass when I asked to donate and I couldn't find anyone to give it all to. On the plus side, I was able to fit all my worldly possessions into 2 little boxes and everything else is just stuff for work. I asked a friend to keep it with him, so it should be alright while I'm gone.

Now I just need to figure out where I'm going to live when I get back.

You can come live on my couch, but then Saya may get jealous.

Sounds good. Does it have a washer and dryer hook up, by chance?

It has a full sized washer and dryer, although the dryer is perpetually filled with clothes I have forgotten about.

God damn it, I just realized what time it is. I should have known it was late when you signed on but I didn't think it was this late.

What time is it over there?

That is a much more reasonable time to be online than 4:00am.

Oooo I just remembered that the farmer's market is tomorrow so I need to go to bed in order to wake up in time to really enjoy it before I have to go to work (also so I can snag some pulled pork bbq from the nice lady before she sells out (which happened last week, at least we got some ribs but I really want to try her pulled pork). Goodnight!

I'm amazed I can find the time to poke around on the internet at all. I don't start working until a few more days from now when there's room for me at the 30 man combat outpost I'm going to.

Sol - that's a pretty fancy couch you have, with an inbuilt washer/dryer combo. and yeah I'd watch out Saya will get jealous and we all know she fights like a Vulcan.

I'm stuffed. Stupid ash cloud has grounded flights and I've had the house full of guests and it's been awesome but I'm ready to resume normal programming now.

It's going to take me days to clean the house, that's if I can find the vacuum cleaner....

Batty you don't know the half of it, my couch is the most awesome couch ever! It's also secretly a really comfy bed and doubles as storage space for loose change and tv remotes. It also holds concerts on Wednesday evenings, it really is a shame that I have to miss them due to my work schedule as my couch is quite a fantastic artist.

I know Saya is deadly, I'm just not sure if she is going to be jealous of me, the couch, or Versus.

Just got a prism fitted to the right lens of my reading glasses (yes, I have a seperate pair of glasses for reading, I'm a stylin' old lady). It's weird, a bit like looking through a fish bowl lens. I'm sure I'll get used to it though.

I think having two favourite gnetters in one house would just make me go visit you. And do horrible things on the couch with Versus.

So whats with crime shows having an obligatory goth/vampire episode? I'm watching Criminal Minds and the main suspect is a musician who looks like the crow, sang Love Will Tear Us Apart, and pretends to be a vampire for his act.

Have you seen it before? I actually liked that episode when it aired.

I think I despised it. Perhaps it was a different series, but there was an episode with a goth person and when they started to get into the psychology of goths.... well they picked every stereotypical bullshit they could have mustered out of their ass.

I don't think it was the Criminal Minds episode. In that one it turned out that it wasn't the 'vampire' guy, but the manager and a crazy-ass fan....I think.

I pretty much just shrug off any shit about the 'psychology' of being a Goth that they might put into shows. I have grown to like Abbey from NCIS.

Yeah, it didn't turn out to be him! And as far as the obligatory goth episode goes for crime shows it wasn't that bad. I remember CSI did it, and there was one who's name I can't remember that had one with vampire murders, and some guy who was always at a goth bar did it, but they couldn't get enough evidence? So for revenge he starts dating one of the cop's daughters or something, it was a TO BE CONTINUED thing after you see them talking.

Yeah, but I give Castle credit for having a steampunk episode!
