What? I didn't take those photos, I found out about them from a friend posting them on FB.

Is it really so shocking, in our internet culture that these sort of things come to light all the time? Given things like 4chan, reditt, etc. There are tons of more disturbing things out there than this. One only has to google it. The old site rotten.com comes to mind for example.

Our society has a fixation on violence, this is just more proof of that.

He looks a lot better than I thought he would. His grafts look very well done and he didn't have much damage to his skull so he may end up looking fairly normal once he heals up, certainly a lot better than the woman who was shot in the face with birdshot a few years ago
