Regarding the call thing, it is a nag.
Management has better things to do than make sure EVERY SINGLE interviewee gets a call updating the "status." If I want you, I'll call you.

A text message or spacebook comment would suffice, honestly.

Woo so I have another interview this Friday, this one with a florist. I'd actually rather work for the florist but we shall who wants me (I’ve always interviewed well and never been passed for a job once I get that far so I'm pretty hopeful that at least one of them will take me) and who would pay better.
I think the real thing I'm excited about with the florist is that even though I would start as a shop assistant there would be room to grow and learn the trade, and honestly I've always loved flower arranging. That and it is 5 minutes from where I work so I could get more total hours (the other place is a solid 45 minutes if there is any traffic) or I could work say a 5 hour shift in the morning and have plenty of time for a nice lunch before heading to the resort.

Thanks, the other job I was kind of pleased to get an interview for but this one I'm really excited about. I'm sure it won't be the easiest job in the world but I think it is something that I could be really happy doing.

Me - " haha yeah I've been on a diet and gym regime for a bit"
Jesus H christ ..... Now I know it must be showing if Steve has noticed I've lost 4 stone .He's quite dim and has been getting my mother's name wrong for about 20 years, so for him to spot it is really quite stupendous

My very first paying job was for a florist delivering flowers and sweeping the cooler when I was 16. I got canned after 4 hours because I was too slow delivering flowers. But I loved smelling the flowers whilst I swept and didn't mind getting canned as I then got a job as a saute chief at Steak and Ale restaurant. Worked there all summer and enjoyed free prime rib and lobster!
:slurp!:

You have to have a certain number of posts before you can send PMs, I think maybe 100? A pain in the ass, I know.
But I have an idea, instead of reviving the game threads to boost your post count quickly, post more cute things in the I'm Cuter thread! Its spam I approve of.

Can someone cut out the duckrabbit in this image and give me a link to it? Preferably with good resolution

This is solely for a facebook post I wanna make. I repeat, this is solely for a facebook post and I can't be bothered with cutting it and posting it myself so I want you guys to do it.

Is it really that weird to have corn for dinner? I mean I had a balanced diet if you look at the whole day, I just really had a craving for corn and had a big bowl of it.

That took five seconds in GIMP, dude, would have taken less if I knew if you wanted the panel or just the duck rabbit.

Wow, I was just thinking about how at one time this forum was cited in a novel as a resource to gain greater insights into Goth Culture. Funny? Maybe not. I'm pretty sure the bad elements are from my old MySpace account. It's all my fault. Feeling guilty.
BTW I will probably not be going to Area 51 on the last Saturday of Feburary this year. It should still be a lot of fun with the bondage guy tying people up in the main foyer and the usual people who show up on Fetish night.
For people bad with word problems... that is Feb. 26 2011.

So I got offered the job with the florist, too bad it was a conditional offer and they needed me to give full avilability on Sundays, which I really can't do without causing issues are my current job, and I'm not fucking up my full time gig for a part time one. They lady I spoke with was pretty understanding about it and they are going to keep me in mind for future positions (she said they may need some seasonal help over the summer), which I guess is good.
I also got a raise, not a whole lot but extra money is still nice.
