Today I did something some people would think is great, but in all honesty I believe
I stepped over the line as well.
Today I saw one of my comrades getting sweet with a girl, This is usually fine but this dude is married. This is the second time I have seen this happen. The first time was when this dude was engaged I didn't say anything because I figured it was complicated.
Today however I saw he was at it again. It drove me to a rage. Usually when this happens I lose all sense of reason, today was no exception. I called this dude on his shit in public.
I am very upset with myself because It wasn't my business. It came from anger and jealousy, because I liked the girl he was getting sweet with. So I know I was wrong and I guess in a way I was right.
This is what ales me today

I don't think that calling someone out on cheating on their wife is inappropriate.

I guess I can try to justify it here it goes: So if my friend decides to keep cheating while he is married there might be a chance he will have kids with his wife. So than we have a situation where this dude is miserable because he is stuck.
This may result in a dysfunctional home where his children will grow up to rob me one day."Chris Rock"
Or I could have minded my own business.
I analyzed my actions and motives here is what I "with the help of my friends" have concluded. I was wrong to bud in especially in public. The good I might have done emphasis on maybe is help my friend realize how bad he can mess things up for himself if he continues to do these things.
What I learned is I need to find a way to curb my impulse actions, and that things done out of any amount jealousy are wrong.

Yeah ... that just plain sucks.
Solumina, you had to make that decision based on what was in your's and Jake's best interests alone. I think Spencer has a problem, because his manipulative girlfriend has convinced him they must live together now, and he is going to pay for this later (not the living together but the moving in with a manipulative woman.) But he's a grown man and must pay for the consequences of his choices ... including paying the rent to you until you or he find an acceptable replacement renter.
I think it's shitty that they tried to make you feel guilty about this, and if I were you I wouldn't waste any more energy worrying about how they are going to make out or how they feel. Period.

I'm feeling a little pissy today, because I went on vacation and even though I had a pretty good time, a lot of things I did agravated my situation. I lost 20 pounds prior to taking the trip, but I put 10 pounds back on in the week I spent on the beach.
My Psoriatic Arthritus was seemingly only affecting me moderately prior to the trip, but the symptoms flared up during the trip and made the return flights (and waiting around the airport for 8 hours) pure agony. I lost my health insurance with my last job and exhausted the last of my medications prior to going on the trip. Then it turns out (as I read up too late on webmd.com) that putting on weight, drinking alcohol (actually, I drank a lot of alcohol during the week - man, those were some tasty pina coladas) and not getting enough sleep all can exacerbate the symptons and increase the amount of joint pain and stiffness.
So my upper arms, elbows and knees ache and my wrists are on fire and I cannot afford to go to a doctor for the meds that will help. The tylenol I was using hasn't helped. Webmd.com recommended ibuprofen, so I'm taking 4 of those ever 4 hours and they seem to help a little, but I can't keep doing that as it'll kill my stomach.
I just wanted to scream THIS SUCKS!!!
[/rant]
I found a $4 matinee showing to go see "Salt" in a theater nearby, so I'm going to go to that to take my mind off this crap for a bit.

I feel the same. I've told people to take their hands off my married friends if they wanted to keep them. My husband always tells me I'm not intimidating, but there are men out there who will tell you otherwise. Or it could be the fact that I'm fully aware of how much damage my New Rocks could do to their head, and they are too.

I agree as well. Although the information I've seen on talk shows leads me to believe you could lose a friend over it, it's still the right thing to do.

Ask them in private, if you must. But anything else is a no-no... especiall yif you are wrong about it.
Ex: My hubby was called by a "friend" who ratted me out for *at that moment* being all over my boss, lap-dancing, etc. etc.... he was infuriated. With my friend.... Because I was asleep on the couch with a migraine. I wasn't even at the shin-dig.
Let it be.
The sound wasn't my Achille's tendon popping or a hamstring being mouthy. It was my gastrocnemius tearing away from my soleus. Doctor was annoyingly impressed I knew both words. So, I heard the sound, felt the rip and saw god (who was not what I expected, looked a hell of a lot like my Muay Thai instructor). No surgery, oodles of painkillers and vicodin to help with my adrenaline issue.

That sucks Ben. Have you asked the pharmacist/chemist about other options to relieve the pain. When I had a Cesarean section I took one ibuprofin and one panadol, but I did not take it for long, because I had any sort of medication. **this is not medical advice. I'd never take medical advice dispensed by a fruit bat without checking it thoroughly first**
Horse - Your friend shouldn't need reminding he's married, if he does, he shouldn't be married.

If you are going on a trip with someone and you want to take someone along for part of the drive and drop them off somewhere you damn well should tell the person you are going on a trip with, this goes double for adding both a person and their pet. You should also check to see how far out of the way this added stop would take you, 15 minutes is generally not a problem, and hour pretty much always is.

Hearts_Purple, there are whole threads around here dedicated to the premise that rational discussion with DMW_05 is pointless. Proceed at your own risk.

I learnt that toddlers can take off their nappies and paint the walls with poo. Does that count?
Oh the cat just walked past and she's not looking happy - amend the above statement to include one cat.

Why did you have to go and start paying him the attention he craves? Everyone else was just scrolling over his lame attempts to pique interest/invite questions, no doubt with a nonplussed finger on the mouse wheel, then you have to go and engage him. You people never fucking learn.

Fruitbat- Your cat wears nappies? :o Has it been checked out by a Veterinarian to see what the cause is for needing a nappy and to see if surgery could help repair what ever damage has been done?
Thanks to having older siblings and parents who tell stories, I was fully prepared for the possibility of poo painting. Thank God my daughter has never done it!

I'm really getting pissed about the direction DC comics is taking with their heroes. First, they came up with an alternate time-line in which Wonder Woman never grew up on an island among Amazons but instead in a gritty, urban setting where she doesn't dress like a superhero. While that ship may right itself in time, it's annoying to think this was the most creative, interesting thing to do with this character ... denying all of her iconic history.
Now they have some storyline where Superman is not flying. He's walking across the country in some kind of attempt to find solidarity with us normal mortals.
I don't even want to talk about what they're doing to Batman right now.
Why is DC embarrassed to have their superheroes appear ... well, super?
