Badteccy, decent list under punk (except for Op Ivy). Everybody knows what music I like but I also like:

Drone Doom (Boris)
Post Hardcore (Helmet, Arcwelder)
Riot Grrl (L7, Bratmobile)
Crustgrind (Destroy)
Power Violence (Capitalist Casualties)

Well, I've got to say, when it comes down to it, there are two genres in the world that I love the most.

1. Industrial.
2. Neofolk

Skinny Puppy,Throbbing Gristle, Boyd Rice, and Death in June are usually on the top of my playlists.

Hmmm...on the cover of the Metropolis 2000 CD, which includes VNV Nation, it says "Electrogoth".

Well, as I posted in the poetry thread last year:

"If it makes me jump from bed
and begin to bang my head
If it's dark and steady beat
makes me tap my feet
When the women shake their hips
and echo lyrics with their lips
then it's genre matters not
and the critics can go rot!"

Well it was a compilation right? They just throw stuff into them anyways. But really, they are Futurepop if you want to get specific about it. Well that's what Ronan Harris himself said anyways, and you know how they love to make up Genres.

Yeah, but they're covering The Cure's "Hanging Garden" on it, so it's acceptable.

Teeheee, in the last one I mean to poke fun at all the different genres people are managing to pull out of their asses these days. There are too many and I am to busy picking nose to care about all that crap. Emotronic, no-wave, metalcore? What the hell?

Hey, for your information No Wave has been around since the early 1980's. Look it up on Wikipedia. But all the other stuff is mainly crap, I do agree with you on that.

Yes, it has. I've seen the myspace page too. I just think it's one of those funnier sounding genres. Not the actual music but the name. Just when you think some music can't get any more pretentious and weird it goes beyond that.
