I think it was like, "Malibu's most Wanted", or something like that. That movie should have been burned.
I liked Napoleon Dynamite. Why? Because it was just that stupid. I mean, it had no point, no plot, and no real meaning, and if you could actually summerize a morale of the story, you need to be shot.

I liked Napoleon Dynamite because it was stupid... plus Pedro is from Cd. Juárez
But the fact that it won an MTV movie award still makes me want to give all those MTV kids a beating, bake them into ginger breads, put 'em in a blender, and give the final mixture to Cerberus >.<
Anyway....
The worst movie of all is one that, luckily, almost no one knows.
Mexican movies are either a masterpiece (e.g. Y Tu Mamá Tambien) or deserve a place in hell.
The worst movie of all is an idiotic movie about some green alien ducks that can talk and came to our world to convert people into bags of tea... LITERALLY transform them into bags of tea!!!!
WTF!!!

The worst movie in my opinion is the movie Birth. After thirty minutes of that i wanted to be unborn. It was wrong in so many ways.

Teabags?
On Napolean Dynamite: Stupidity is not appealing to me. And those that say "gosh!" I restrain myself from smacking.

That movie sounds sweet! I can just imagen it. My friends would probably make a cult (I have weird friends... they made a 'shrine to eyeliner' in the girls toilets... )

Indeed. "Wing Commander" was based on the video games. And it is truly, truly mind-numbingly bad. If you are going to watch it, down a bottle of cheap red wine beforehand (if you're old enogh that is!). Red wine goes well with cheese. Oh, and Matthew Lillard is in it, adding ham to the recipe.

I had no idea that "Nick Fury: Agent Of S.H.I.E.L.D." was made into a flick. That was one of my favourite comicbooks growing up. This is new to me. If it is, then it was probably one of those straight-to-video/DVD releases or just as bad, made-for-cable television.
|
Well, if you liked the comic book, you'll HATE the film (which was made for TV). Although it does have a certain corny charm, and seeing The Hoff playing a rough and ready character like Nick Fury is highly amusing. It is criminal that they created this, however, considering the potential a Nick Fury movie has to be a really fun and engaging film. Ah well.

*BLANK LOOK ON FACE* The movie was funny.....But you have crushed my vision, put it back together, and formed a new one. Napolean dynamite really didnt have a message. I now see why.... Thank you eccentric one.....(Im not joking, thanks really, I understand now)

The movie "Identity" - right up til the end, when the whole plot is completely ruined..
Also, I Know What You Did Last Summer..and anything like that, which is very predictable.

Memorable line from that movie:
He's about to fly off into some wormhole to save Earth (er, am I spoiling anything? nope, impossible) and the requisite chick is hovering there in her life pod, maybe it's the last time they're going to see each other, and he says...
"I really like you."
Bwahahahaha!!! Fucking great!

I like Napoleon Dynamite, because I can just throw it on, and have background noise.
I just saw, a very stupid movie. It was called, *Drumroll*, "2001, A Space Odessy". The good part: The Music. The bad part: The Movie.

Yes. The old vision was just laughing at the funny parts but now I understand that the directors must have thought if you put in so many hilarious scenes that the viewer will not care about the point of the movie and just laugh.
Okay. Another stupid movie: DRUMLINE. ICOULDNT CARE LESS ABOUT THOSE LOSERS. I only saw it because we went to see it on a trip to the theatre.

It's full of memorable quotes, like when someone breaks a window in the ship or something equally trite and they're all getting pulled out by the force of depressurization or some such pseudophysics:
"This sucks"
Or when one of the crew get impaled on a giant drill-bit thingy.
"He's screwed"
*le sigh*

Ugh. Yes. Napolean Dynamite is up there on my "Never in my Life Will I Ever Suffer Through Again" list.
Anyone see Gosford Park? I really didn't find that film appealing either. The commentary on the DVD was funny though....where the director discusses how he didn't want "too much of a plot thing going on."

I liked "The Life Aquatic," but it was still deeply confusing-- a lot like some of Monty Python's weirder work, just less funny.

Okay, I finally found it after looking for a bit:
Virus!! This was so bad it was funny, so I'm wondering if it actually counts here or not... at any rate, some highlights:
Electromagnetic aliens
A strangely never-ending supply of electronic parts in the middle of the ocean
Donald Sutherland wearing a captain-hat, and being a cyborg
Dialogue:
"What do you want?!"
"Lo-ove!"
Muhaha!! What a movie...

It actually mik an, my darkling. But I'm sure that's just a typo, as it must be hard to see your keyboard, being engulfed in darkness as you are.

I have just stuck this in the writing thread, but I thought I'd be cheeky and stick it here too, as it seems appropriate...
