Haha, it's a question I asked some posts above that Lizzie explained to me.

Oh, I thought you were referring to my dreadful writing and/or posts I do get so paranoid, especially reading your critiques...

When you say "a girl on my space" do you mean someone you have never even met? I'm getting that vibe, and believe me, to be infatuated with or even interested enough to talk about someone you've never even seen in the flesh much less have had physical contact with is psychotic, sad, and embarrassing. I'm not being mean, I know from experience. From a person that was formerly a bored teenager: GET OVER IT!!!! Do it for your own sake.

Poem I wrote for a guy on myspace
Oh dearest, dreadful man,
On my friends list top four
Please quit with your assumptions-
that I'm a nineteen year old whore.
You say you're a playboy,
Slim, young with wit-
Just leave me alone
I don't give a shit!
I've learned of the R word
And the Tom who goes Peepy-
Just, stranger, please delete your account
For you seem indeed creepy!

Not really "infatuated" or obsessed or any other word you would choose to use for that matter. Things of beauty just inspire me. I was in the mood to write so I wrote about something that inspired me. If that is "psychotic, sad and embarrassing" so be it. I've also written poems about cutting paper and the death of a flower.

I didn't get "stalker" vibes from your poem. Unrequited love is a common theme. Maybe you could've given it a more descriptive title than to "a girl," in order to keep this from being misunderstood.

But being interested enough in a total stranger on an internet forum to give them advice coming from personal experience is not sad or embarrasing then, I take it?
I think Mrs. Wes Straker needs to take a step back from her bad personal experiences and stop reading them into what other people write. Dead Blue Grind posted his poem wanting literary critique, and instead gets some absurd assumptions about his love life. I hardly think that's fair. Or on topic for that matter.
Besides, being interested in conversations with, talking about or liking a person on the internet is perfectly normal in the modern world. Nothing to be ashamed of at all, if he is.

Encourage it if you must. I find nothing wrong with calling things how I see them. The concept of the poem is nice, but having a bit of knowledge of Old English, his misuse of it ruined it. It's nice that you're sticking up for him though. I suppose everyone needs a bit of back up here and there. Realistically, this forum is made for commenting, which is what I did. My Space, although people use it that way, is not meant for stalking, which is why it now affords it's users a privacy option.

And why not? Plenty of gnet users swear, don't they? *Confused* I'm a bit slow when it comes to these things. I really can't think of any derogatory terms that begin w/ "r". I tend to be a bit lazy when reading, though, so I'll try for another 10 seconds.

Yeah. It's not a bad word, but some people have triggers and some people have Spambots and that's a hot word for bot and search.

Does this forum even have a registration image-keycode? That would help loads.

You'd have to ask someone from the intro thread, heh. Most of us probably can't remember, especially since so many other things you sign up for have them, so it's hard to know what did and what didn't.
