I think a few of the designs on the skull are from the Book of Kells. I am not sure but a few look really fimiliar. They may or not be but the skull is awesome.

Wolfie, yes, it is badass. And my little VGA cellphone camera doesn't do it justice. When I get back home I'll post better resolution pics from my digital camera.

Cannibal, I think it's possible, although it's been a loooonnnggg time since I looked at the Book of Kells. I took more pictures, but won't really be able to get at the pics in the digital cameras until I get home.

i just got home from the pub....rather hard to type now!
i had a wicked day......it started with a job interview.
i walked in and said.....

I need to do laundry....
I hate doing laundry. I just throw everything in together just to get it over with.
Out of all the usual stuff that I have to do (e.g. eat, meds, brush teeth and the like) I loathe laundry the most!

on a side note - today was grace's first birthday. grace is my youngest and for those who remember - she popped out in the car on the way to the hospital, drenching me and the front of my wife's mini-van in blood and offal.
that was one year ago.
