Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL.

Pendulum on the 12th December.
Not for the music, I hasten to add...
For the large amounts of alcohol, awesome people and getting out of the house for two days.

Gig was great. Lecture at 9 was not fun.

I'm in agony from being jealous of all those people going to SoM. I NEED to hear Some Kind of Stranger and Marian live, and my life will be complete.

My next is Soundwave Festival (the closest thing Australia's got next to Warped Tour) NIN headlining. That's 3 months away. Need to find something to fill that gap.

Hmm I like seeing folk-metal type stuff live, so I'm rather jealous of you JCC. Glad it was good though.

No more gigs for me for a while.

Mighty boosh were verryy good, but Nick Cave was unbelievably so.

Slipknot, Machine Head and Children of Bodom last night.

Children of Bodom sucked because they were playing Children of Bodom songs.
Machine Head were suitably awesome.
Slipknot were also fantastic, even turning stinkers like Dead Memories into something enjoyable.

They were great in Adelaide too
Though we didn't have CoB only Machine Head and Slipknot.

My next gig is Soundwave 09. I'll see In Flames, Lamb of God, Every Time I Die and some other crap. Should be as fun as it was this year.
