What's wrong with Grunge? I've been a Pearl Jam fan for a good part of my life, they were my first favourite band... but now the Banshees claim that throne.

I've been listening to the album "Phantasmagoria" by the Damned, as it downloads from Soulseek. While I'm waiting, though, I've been listening to
"Is It a Dream" by Classix Nouveaux.
Great new-wave band with an occasional post-punk vibe.

Nah, though around the 90s I was crazy about the Gits, Nirvana, etc. and it was big, because I lived in Seattle.
