I got a hair-cut. I now look semi-normal. It's scary.

I just downloaded Falling...Catewauling and The Astonished Eyes of Evening.
I am so happy right now. This could also have been induced by reading through 20 or so pages of the DIY thread. Jesus... I have this gripping feeling that I HAVE to make something.

I'm having ice cream for breakfast at ten past three in the afternoon. The ice cream is Ben and Jerry's Phish Food.

I'm going to start bothering my Gentleman to get Guillermo Del Toro films, because Cronos and Mimic look like just my kind of thing, and The Devil's Backbone could be pretty good too.

And Del Toro is going to direct a film adaptation of Lovecraft's "The Mountains Of Madness"! Squee!

The Devils Backbone isn't bad. I didn't like Cronos personally. Not seen Mimic. I do love Pans Labyrinth, especially the creepy lullaby on the soundtrack .

I reckon if he's directing At the Mountains of Madness it should be great. I love that story.

I used to love that stuff...It's all a slippery slope towards their Creme Brulee, Cake Batter, Brownie Batter, and Cinnamon Buns flavors. Yummeh. *kicks self for not trying their Black and Tan flavor*

Any hope on the job hunt?

Nope. I think I may leave that so I can get excited all over again once it dies down about these two albums. : D

I'm still unemployed, and I don't think we have the flavours you mention over here, or if we do then they aren't available locally to me.

I'm going to polish my CV some more after a nice shower, then maybe go and buy some actual food.

I just want to live in London with suitable flatmates and have a job. I really really want that. With that, I can travel, see friends, go to clubs, help out when others need it instead of standing uselessly by because I can't afford to visit them, etc.
I don't like sitting idle like this. I'm so bored. I need some kind of direction.

Well I'm cleaning the house today. Being unemployed sucks. I find anything to do to keep myself from going into depression or just lay around until feeling atrophy. After relaxing enough, pick myself up and get another job. Works out usually. The bigger problem has been finding a job that I won't quit.

I got a pleasant review for a story I wrote 3 years ago on fanfiction dot net! Amazing that 3 years later new readers still enjoy my stories. It brings a tear to my geriatric eye. (snif) An author hopes his stories will be timeless and reach across generations. Maybe I'll become immortal after all!

I love dying my hair, but I'll perhaps be bald by the age of 60. Damn.

You can barely play the guitar. That would be a waste.

I could be better, but I can play guitar well enough. I just don't have as much time to practice as I'd like.

Well this should be my last post for a few days, I'll be up visiting my mom for her 60th birthday party and her internet connection is a bit on the slow side, plus I'll be a bit busy.

I got a haircut at Sears once. My hair was short, but I had let my bangs grow out. She lopped them off above my eyebrow and layered the rest of it. It looked so awful, it made me cry. My hair looked like a four-year-old had been taking a switchblade to it. What make it worse was that I had school the next day, and it was a bitch trying to get my hair to look normal, for me... Horray for rainbow hairclips. Anyway, NEVER get a haircut at Sears. EVER.

I spent yesterday afternoon and the night down at the lake, setting fire to stuff, barbecueing, shooting at stuff with Sven's air rifle, drinking copious amounts of alcohol, resulting in 1 sunk dinghy and 1 bicycle for ever lost in the lake.
