Well, I was going to become a Christian, but it turns out that the guy who was telling me that Jesus would save me is a liar so I changed my mind.

Jesus isn't going to save you because Yeshuah of Nazareth has been dead for about two thousand years, and he crumbled away to dust in that time frame, because they didn't mummify folks. I'm insulted those people think I need to be saved. I'm quite happy in my guilt free existence, thank you kindly. Because see, after becoming an adult, I learned how to do this thing called "accepting responsibility for my actions". I don't need some creepy spying Santa Claus in the sky to make me be good, because I'm not five years old, and I have functioning empathy.
Religion is a sad little way for people to feel like they can be children, and Mommy and Daddy will still take care of them. Grow up.

Accepting Jesus as your savior is completely against basic justice standards.
so we have a mortal sin so horrible that we must burn in hell for eternity?
oh well, jesus already paid for that, lets recognize him as our savior, but it still means we are letting other person take punishment for YOUR sin, which is a much worse thing to do.
of course, this assuming you believe these fairy tales.

first of all Jesus is God, and you burn in hell for not accepting Jesus, and any sin is horible no matter how big or small, and the penalty for any sin is death, christ took that penalty for you, and you have to do more than recognize him as savior, you have to accept him as your savior, and Lord.
