About the homophobic post it was nowhere near any of your posts so why would there be any indication that it was directed at you unless that person had previously said that type of thing about you.

My pet peeve: people that are so self centered that they think everything has something to do with them and even worse are the people that feel the need to whine about something that most likely has nothing to do with them

When I clean up a huge mess that someone else made and then I ask that someone for a small favor (taking out the trash, putting away the dishes when the dishwasher is done, feeding the cat, etc) they get all pissy and ask why they should have to do that and say that I never do anything for them

Let's see, where do I start......

1. The enormous number of trolls that flock in here like lost sheep every month, post several shitty posts, and then disapparate after leaving a bad taste in your mouth.

2. Assholes that go on forums and chatrooms just to flame the hell out of people.

3. The large majority of the media, it seems that these days the media tries to tell you how to live your life (this is to be expected, of course, they are trying to make money), but it appears to be saying "Conform to our ideals and you will be successful in life, do otherwise and you will not be so fortunate." This is the reason why I'm a fan of Barbara Kruger's artwork, it criticizes the media for being one-sided and questions it.

4. People who judge a book by its cover. It is definitely a common peeve but there's a good reason for disliking it. If everyone is judged solely on their appearence, people fail to realise the inner beauty of some wonderful people who's beauty may not be so clearly expressed on the outside. Just like a book, if we don't bother to read a book because we don't like the cover, we may be missing out on a wonderful story.
