Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL.

Recommendations?

I want to find some new stuff to listen to, so I thought I'd see what you think I would like.
I listen to Phoenix, Inkubus Sukkubus, Emilie Autumn, The Strokes, The Dresden Dolls, Blutengel, Tame Impala, Air, The Birthday Massacre, and Daft Punk mostly. What other bands do you think I should try?

These are just some of my favorite bands you didn't list:
Black Sabbath '69-'78. (Hard Rock/Early Metal)
Lacuna Coil (Gothic Metal)
The Doors (Blues/Rock)
Zeromancer (Goth/Metal/Industrial; hard to find, but worth it)
De/Vision (Electronica, Rock)
Depeche Mode (Need I say more?)
Ayria (Industrial/Synth Pop)
Bat For Lashes (Electronica/Folk)
Collide (Electronica/Synth Pop)
Stabbing Westward (Industrail/Metal)
IAMX (Electronica/Rock)
L'Ame Immortelle (Goth)
Miss FD (Electronica/Goth)
That's all I can think of at the moment given my massive music collection. Hope it helps
